From a beach town in Nayarit to the Pacific Northwest.
We grew up in Rincón de Guayabitos, a little beach town on the coast of Nayarit, Mexico, with a fish market right downstairs from our home. Our parents and grandma cooked the way coastal families do, fresh, bright, full of flavor, and they ran a restaurant there for about ten years. Ceviche isn't a trend for us. It runs in the family.
When we brought the style up to the Pacific Northwest, we put our own twist on it and teamed up with mom. We started out of a garage. By the next year, we were serving at Washington State National Soccer Tournaments at Sixty Acres Park, Yerbana yoga and wellness events at Gas Works Park, and pop-ups at 1712 Studios in SoDo.
Same family. Same recipes. New coast.
